Welcome
TISHÉ STUDIO 648 Kennebec Avenue Takoma Park, Maryland 20912 Phone: 301-565-9659 | An Adventure in Art and GlassNow on display at "The Art Barn" in Silver Spring, Maryland, Tishé Glassery displays its new line of small "art tiles". These small works of art are beautifully handcrafted and perfect for a small area accent. The display will run through March 15, 2004 and is located on Georgia Avenue.Tishé Group Productions exhibited its first line of Warm Art Glass to the public at NBC Studios in Washington, D.C. in the spring of 2003. The exhibit featured a combination of fine art and an array of beautifully crafted fused glass, available for purchase online. Each piece signed by the artist comes with a certificate of authenticity. The exhibit also featured original fine art from 'Brita'. A renowned artist in her country, Germany, Brita's paintings have been exhibited in prominent galleries throughout Europe and the United States. 'My work takes place in the twilight of morning or in the last rays of evening, the border between day and night, sleep and waking, bluring the destinction between the reality and the phantoms of the imagination'. Her painting "Momento" is a stirring vision of the losses so many have suffered during the tragic, September 11th crisis. Yet she creates a sense of home and comfort in her wildlife images that capture the essence of man's relationship with the environment. An untraditional artist, Brita's images of the exotic take reality to another realm. Her work leaves a haunting touch on your senses. We hope you enjoyed our exhibit at the recent Shiloh Baptish Church Xmas Bizaare and Gift Show. See our new line of glass jewelry and pictures from the exhibit. Tishé Glassery had an excellent showing this fall at the new D.C. Convention Center in downtown Washington, D.C. We joined over 20 artisians displaying hand-crafted African artifacts, household decor and specialty clothing. An afternoon of dance and heritage engaged the audience this winter at the Ms. Black Africa pageant in Columbia, Maryland. Tishé Glassery exhibited its new line of art glass as visitors strolled pass crafts from the African continent and countries around the world.
